There's a kind of hush-Herman's Hermits
Don't let the sun catch you crying- Gerry and the Pacemakers
Indian Reservation-Paul Revere and the Raiders
Time of the season-The Zombies
I'd like to teach the world to sing- The seekers
I wasn't a teenager, but I had sisters who were at the time so I had to listen to these songs!

Whoa! Paul Revere and the Raiders with Mark Lindsay!
What a group! Loved them! Liked Kicks, Indian Reservation,
also some of Marks songs - Arizona...

Yes it was a great time! Kinda dates us though...

How about Bobby Sherman? David Cassidy? The Carpenters?
Loved them too!

sadly i have not heard of these bands, however it would have been awesome to be a teenager in the 60's. I hear all these stories about my parents growing up in that era and it sounds so cool, they even met all these bands, and it was easy time back then, kids could just go out and have fun..unlike now where we have so much to worry about and all the stress and all these gangs that are extremely violent...but i am sure there are some negatives about living in the 60s, but still....and not to mention all the greatest bands came out at this time.........

Well, Sunshine! Something on here I can finally relate to! Some of those I do not recall, but Who did "Ferry Across The Mercy" and "Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter"? By the way, Mrs. Brown was a dog. Now I am going to have to go on line and search some of those artists and reminisce!

"Little Red Riding Hood?" I am not sure on those...although if I heard the songs I would recognize them. I loved "Wake Up Little Susie" by the Everly Brothers. I am 44 years old and stuck on this and classic rock. Your question has brought back some nice memories. Do you remember Dusty Springfield's, Son Of A preacher Man? That was a good one too! Loved your question!!!
