okay first of all...dwight is not creepy! second of all i want to see how many of you know about dwight without looking it up on the web and if you visited it or passed through it, not what the median age is or w/e. dwight is a nice little town and just because we have lots of corn fields make us creepy???? uhhhhh i think not however thank ya everybody. the most original answer was that there is a correctional facility and not to mention the only children's developmental facility in illinois (fox center) the keeley institute was the first institute in the WORLD to treat alcoholism as a disease. jeeze i guess best answer goes to the one with the correctional facility. and yeah lots of stuff about dwight that you could have included check ya later ♥

Dwight is a village in Livingston County, Illinois and Grundy County, Illinois. The population was 4,363 at the 2000 census. Dwight contains an original stretch of the famous Route 66, and uses a railroad station designed in 1891 by Henry Ives Cobb.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 6.7 km² (2.6 mi²). 6.7 km² (2.6 mi²) of it is land and 0.39% is water.

Dwight is mostly located in Livingston County, but a small portion extends northward into Grundy County, and thus, into Chicagoland.
Dwight is home to one of only three banks designed by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Of these three, the Bank of Dwight is the only one still operating as a bank today.

I live in Illinois but I live in the North side where the suburbs are I don't think I've heard of it. I think I'll stay up to day with this question because I want to know too now!

Yeah I live kinda by there.....uhhh its very spread out, creepy little town....it has mcdonalds, burger king, all that stuff, but its really small. and creepy....creepy.....CORNFIELDS
