what do you think about the name tabitha for a girl

I really like it.
But it does remind me of Bewitched but thats a good thing for me.
I like it because its not too common but its not one of those wierd made up names people keep inflicting upon thier children these days.

Tabitha means gazelle...So good luck with that, but a lot of people refer to the name Tabitha to witches.
A good name is Emberlynn..which means precious (pretty) jewel.

Reminds me of Tabitha from Bewitched. Then people would call her Tabby, like a cat. It's OK (at least it's normal) but sort of blah. Did you have any particular middle name in mind...something that might jazz it up a bit?

I think it is very cute there are alot of people that are going back to the older names now. you see like alot of katie's (which is my daughters name) and others like sara, emily, elizabeth and so forth. I think if that is what i wanted i would use it and it is a very pretty name.

its all up to you and if your having second guesses that probaly wont be the name once your beautiful bay girl is in your arms a name will come to you (but its good to look for names early)

It's okay but don't go by other peoples opinions it's your child and I think you should go with what you like instead of having a name that you don't like.

personally i don't like it. reminds me of the bewitched show from when i was a kid! the nickname tabby doesn't really appeal to me either, but it's all personal preference! if you like it then you should use it. i like emily, jennifer, kaley, stepanie, and rachel. just some ideas! good luck!

I don't know...but if I were to have a daughter I would name her Emmy, Emily, or Christine
