a really easy way to fix that is to stand a little bit away from the sink, so then you won't be tempted to turn the faucet on

I don't let the water run while brushing my teeth. how come you started doing that when you used an electric toothbrush? try to go in a different room without a sink and try to brush your teeth like that. that's what I do.

I always brush my teeth in the shower. I use a Braun electric toothbrush and there is no problem using it there but there may be using other battery powered ones. Electric toothbrushes create a much foamier mess and it always dribbles so its easy to wash away in the shower.

I actually brush my teeth in the shower! I know it sounds crazy or gross but it actually saves time! So get a regular toothbrush and take it in the shower with you! I started the habit when I was in college and lived in the dorms! There was hardly any room for me to get to a sink since I lived in an all girls dorm! So brushing my teeth in the shower was easier!! :)

I try not to let the water run generally, especially while there is a water shortage (we've got hosepipe bans here you know), I wouldn't say a hosepipe ban was a drought situation, at least we've got drinkable water. Anyway, I can't remember what I was going to say, so I'll tell you a nursery rhyme: Row row row your boat, gently down the stream, Melanie Melanie Melanie Melanie, life is but a dream. :)

Ya! I have that bad habit also. It started by one lazy day of, "I'm just brushing them real quick" to just watching the water wast before my eyes as I bush on. I think you should think just how annoying that is, to hear the water run, so that you get tiered of it an turn the nob off.

well it's just unnecessary to let it run. I used to leave it on but then I just stopped doing it because I just thought it was unnecessary if i''m not even using it and the toothbrush is in my mouth :D

Yes, most of the time, because I do not want to keep my paws on the nasty handle or keep turning it on and off when my hands are clean. I hate germs. I am not a germ freak though, but I have quirky ideas like that. :)
