I definitely agree: 12 is far, far too young to be doing that.

If I were you, I'd be like, "Listen, you're too young and you are obviously far too immature to realize what trouble you're getting yourself into. If I catch you sneaking out or having sex again, I'm telling Mom and Dad. Period. Time to clean your act up, missy."

...And definitely explain some of the risks of sneaking out (besides getting caught, obviously-- getting abducted and / or raped and / or killed) and the risks of sex at such a young age. I think I read somewhere that girls who have sex too young are more prone to cervical cancer or something. Definitely not something for her to be messing around with. Also, any number of things could go wrong (as I'm sure you know) such as STDs or unwanted pregnancy...

Good luck!

P.S.
In this instance, betraying your sister shouldn't be your biggest concern. Give her a chance to act right. I can't even imagine a 12 y/o out alone at night. My brother's the same age and I would flip. If you don't tell your parents and something happens to her, you will never forgive yourself because you'll know that you could have done something to prevent it. Since you're 21, you're almost like another parent to your sister since you're an adult. She is (somewhat) your responsibility, too, and you're just looking out for her welfare. If she weren't behaving so irresponsibly, she wouldn't be putting you in this awkward situation. If she gets in trouble, it's her own fault. Just maybe give her a warning first so that she knows you're putting your foot down.

What ? a 21 year old scared of his little 12 year old sister finding out that you snitched on her? give me a break. Be a grown up and pull that little girl by the hair and drag her to your parents and let her get the thrashing she deserves. Its better the girl get tramatized than your parents cause its a matter of physical and mental health! do you want her to get pregnant? get aids? be mentally distrurbed? there is no polite way of doing it, she will hate you regardless. When she grows up she will realize it was for her own good.

To be totally honest I think you full of shi* and your just sitting back enjoying this arent you? you mean to tell me that you drive around town every night looking for her before your parents find out? sounds really stupid behavior of a 21 year old protecting his sister knowing every night she is doing this. A 21 year old would have enough comon sense to take action and stop the problem from its core that driving around every night like a little ninny.

Don't tell your parents. Right, she maybe should not have had sex, but what the parent will says if they know it? they will be traumatised, you would not want to know if your future child would be sexually active, do you?

Just let it be between you two, talk to her a litle for she understand that she sould be ready to have sex(if she is ready don't worrie there is no age to start if you are responsible). If she still don't listen you, let her go, she will understand by her mistakes.

Hope I helped you ;)

12? shoot, the kids get younger and younger- anyway, be there for her and tell her why she souldn't do things that are reserved for adults. The best thing you can do is love her, because when its all boiled down, she's just looking for love. There's no room for should haves and could haves, yesterday's gone and tomorrow may never come, live in the present, its all you really have.

Mind your own.
Sure, you can snitch.
What happens when you go back to school.
You snitching can drive a lifelong wedge between you both.
Better think twice.

I think you should break it to them saying the she needs to be on some type of birth control and then when they ask why you can tell them what has been going on.

Your parents really need to know that your sister is sexually active. I would plan a family meeting so everyone can talk about it together. You don't want your sister thinking that you are talking about her behind her back.

The best thing to do is just to let your parents catch her. That way she won't feel betrayed and you really don't have to do anything. Less guilt, fewer problems. Plus they are her parents, not you, and they should be more responsible.

I think you should write an anonymous letter to your parents to let them know what she is up to.
