i think a lot of people (myself included) thought that they would struggle because even though they beat Brazil Argentina etc..it was at home and we all know that they are much better at home . but after watching them against Poland i thought they played really well they looked very strong in defence and were passing it around good as well i think you have a great chance of qualifying to the next round.

Ecuador impressed me when they played against Poland...to tell you the truth i thought it would end 3-0 for Poland before the match had started!
not that i didn't believe in Ecuador...but it was only that i thought Poland played pretty well in the qualifications!
but after the match...I've changed my opinion completely...cause Ecuador seemed a very talented and motivated team with a strong desire to win!
i believe Ecuador chances of qualifying into the second round is pretty good...since they will be facing Costa Rica...and since Poland is having really slim chances against Germany next Wednesday!

Great game vs poland, very confident. Last world cup was their first, and now seems like a solid team.

It will take a lot of talent and luck in order for anyone to win. So I wish them the best, though I seriously doubt they'll win.

If you had watched them play against Poland you will note that even the lower ranked teams are in it to win.
Good on them for their gutsy effort.
