gday i am from australia and not everything everyone knows about us is true we dont throw shrimps on the barbie we dont even call em shrimps we call em prawns, we dont have kangaroos in our backyard they are actually a pest over here, but it is true that we are very laid back and friendly and we do use alot of slang. we are hard workers and love our families and a beer or two on the weekend isnt uncommon. we have not only tax on our petrol but also gst which is making mr howard very unpopular at the moment and are in the worst drought of all time. we have water restrictions several times a year. we have a great medicare system and free hospital treatment. we eat a lot of meat and drink a lot of beer we love sport and life in general hope this helps.
