I am a makeup artist so this is what I think:
Hazel eyes:
Rich green eyeshadow will deepen the colour of your eyes, giving you a dramatic look. Pale yellows and beiges are also great — they'll highlight the light flecks in your eyes, giving them a vivid luminous look.
Bring out your hazel eyes with a soft pencil liner and lengthening mascara.
Hazel shades enhance your eye color—pinks and blacks make it pop for a stunning, intensified hazel!
Also liquid liner and volumizing mascara. Toffee shades enhance your eye color— Blush and blacks make it pop for your boldest hazel yet!
Green eyes:
Purple and lavender shades will contrast with your eye colour and make your eyes appear more dramatic. Or, try a warm shade of mocha or brown to really complement your green eyes for a great natural-looking alternative.
Bring out your green eyes with a soft pencil liner and lengthening mascara.
Green shades enhance your eye color—plums make it pop for a beautiful, intensified green!
Also liquid liner and volumizing mascara. Jade shades enhance your eye color—violets make it pop for your boldest green yet!
I hope that helps.

I have green eyes and went to MAC store to find out which would look best with my eye color. These are the three best colors I found and purchased, very light pink called vapour which covers the whole lid, a rosey pink called girlie on that whole crease between the top of your eyeball and brow bone, and a plum color called folie for the outside edge of the area I just described. Sometimes I add a small touch of gold. For eyeliner I use another eye shadow with a special brush, it’s a charcoal color called concrete. If you go to the MAC website you can look up the product names I mentioned and it will show you the exact color. Or if there is a MAC near you they will make suggestions and show you how to make it look best. I'm sure you could also find the exact colors at a different store for a more reasonable price.
Have fun showing off those sexy eyes!

I have green eyes and I find that purple eyeshadow works wonders to bring out the green. You should try that Almay color effects for each individual eye color. It works pretty well too and don't be discouraged by the dark green color in the eyeshadow trio because when you put it on it looks more grey and blends really well with the purple.

Instead of telling you, I am going to give you a link that will improve your makeup collection. I use this every day for green eyes, and it looks better than anything I have ever used. It is a color trio from almay, and they made if for all sorts of eye colors. It is almost 8 dollars, but trust me.. ITS WORTH IT! Give it a shot, it is easy to use, not complicated (Come on, they put all the best colors for diffrent eye colors in a single makeup thing, and give you good instructions on how to use it) and it will make you look nothing but beautiful. Give it a shot and tell me how you liked it. kdomagala@sbcglobal.net

First start with a moisturizer to help your foundation go on smoothly. After the foundation I work on the blush. Do one that subtly enhances your natural cheek color or go without. Whatever you like. I like the Almay collection that has the color coordinated shades for each eye color. I know my blue eyes explode with intensity when I am finished with the shadow and liner. Also use mascara. It opens the eyes and makes eye color pop! I like Avons new mascara the creme mousse. It doesn't clump and feels natural. Plus it comes off easily with eye-makeup remover. Choose a lipstick that enhances your natural color. I like Revlons Overstay, or Overtime lipcolor. Its semi-pemanent and doesn't feather.

I find brown or light earth tones the best in bringing out green or hazel eyes.

Use a lilac or any shade of purple for that... it will make your eyes pop just make sure to apply with caution... Purple is one of those colors you do not want to cake on. Use a med tinted purple on your eye lid a very light (almost white) above your crease to your brow bone and in the corner of your eye to widen it. Then take a deep purple and sweep from corner to corner in the crease of your eye. Finish off with a brown or black liquid eye liner on your top lid (keep it thin), and mascara. Hope this works for you.
