I see no harm in it if you and your friends stay together.

Im a MOM...my daughter is 16. When she goes to mall, football games at school, whatever safety in numbers and there is occasional texting back and forth, sometimes a phone call. I got her a cell phone a 15 and it is the house law that she goes NO WHERE without it. When she is out, No one goes to the bathroom alone, even if she is with her male friends, one always stands outside the john and waits. She is mature and has held a job since she was 14 and maintains good grades.
There are movies, concerts, (the smaller venues) and plays. Minor league baseball games and stock car racing. Also see whats happening at your Park district, many times they have theme park bus trips, baseball games, bowling.
I think you asked because you want a little ammo to use against your parents. Honey we are all different as each of you are and what I allow mine to do may not be approppriate for you. Make sure above everything you gain yoour parents trust and DO NOT screw that up because it will take forever to rebuild.
Good luck and take your time growing up, it is not all what its cracked up to be.

i am also fifteen and i dont think its a good idea to go to a theme park alone with your friends because of the potential risk of pedofiles the movies is an ok place or the mall as long as you have a cell phone or actually it ddepends on which theme park and if you have a cell phone have a parent be in the theme park walking around and have them periodically call you and i think that would be ok

At 15 years old you really shouldn't go anywhere alone. It just isn't safe nowadays. But if you are with friends you can go just about anywhere. Movies, Church socials, malls, amusement parks etc. Just be sure that whereever you do decide to go that it is a safe place for you to be..Just because it an teen activity doesn't meant that there aren't creeps out there watching.

honestly, i think its perfectly fine to let a 15 year old go to an amusement park with their friends, as long as its a big group and that they can look after each other. for a parent it could be hard, but the child would keep nagging and getting upset with you if you don't let them, and could also lead for them to be sneaking out without your permission and such. if you trust your child enough, you should let them go because dont' forget you can't hold them back any longer as they get older. yes 15 seems like a young age, but once they get their liscense and all at 16, they will be out all the time with their friends. hope this helps.

In this day and age, that is a tough question since there is so many things in this world that are a worry for a parent. you could go to church or to a teen convention. to the movies...but an amusement park...maybe not.

It's really up to the parent, and how mature the child is. In general, I think it would be ok. The movies and the mall are also good places for teens to go.

If you're a trustworthy 15-year-old, and your friends are real friends who won't lead you into trouble, I don't see why not. However, your parents may know more than I do, and they're the ones you have to convince.

With all the idiotic kids running off with their MySpace adult "lovers" I feel you can't expect any freedom beyond chaperoned church or school outings and if caught sneaking off NO TRUST FREEDOM at ALL!!!!
