I am 6'5 and slim. I want to put on muscle to help with my love life. Girls dont like scrawny guys, at least for me. I am attractive and i just want that special emmph in me. I can easily lift a 10 pound dumbell, but can i still gain muscle in my arm doing so(even if its easy?)

First of all make sure you are using proper form and technique. Consult a personal trainer otherwise you risk injury. Secondly, 10 pounds might be too light for you, but once you use the correct form you might finally feel the burn.

Its not all about lifting weights, its also about what you are eating. In order to bulk up you need to significantly increase your protein intake and lift heavier weights fewer times. You must also stretch a lot.. you dont wan to be inable to move because your so tight!
So in conclusion!!!...
More protein shakes 30 min after hard workouts
Try to increase by 5 lbs every two times you go to the gym.. Remeber to take days off to let muscle growth recover
Eggs for breakfast
Tuna for lunch
Meat and vegetables for dinner
Ice cream before bed
Lots and Lots of water
and protein shakes

you need to build up the amount of weight you use gradually and make sure you use perfect technique

the better your technique and then the more weight you cna use the more the muscle will respond

get a personal trainer to do a few sessions with you to make sure you are on the right road and then get him/her to help you maybe once a month to keep you moving ahead

actually, the muscle you gain, has to do with your testosterone. so if you dont have a lot, you wont gain as much. if you have a lot, vice versa. thats what steriods are. testosterone so its easier to gain muscle and gain a lot of it.
