I thought they were scary, but they are funny now, because I have seen the animated Parody of The Shining done in 30 seconds by bunnies, worth a look all those that have never seen AngryAlien and the ~The 30-Second Bunnies Theatre Library ~

YES! of course it started the trend of creepy kids in all of the scary movies you see now, or was it the omen? whichever it was, shining is a better movie anyway...the best!

exactly, they added an eerie, creepy touch to the hotel halls!
it kept you wondering if in the nest turn Danny took he would find them again?, it helped to keep you on an edge.
