Good answers ,but no more Star Wars or Grease OK.
Ican agree that these were good movies, but I was hoping for Science Fiction or Horror, or Drama stuff. No comedies , oh and early 80's is ok too.
I was thinking like Excalibur, and Blade Runner, stuff like that OK

STAR WARS of course.
"Marathon Man" was kind of offbeat with excellent acting and an interesting plot line good movie, but don't watch if you have a dental appointment coming up the next day.

Wow, that is a tough question to answer when you consider what that decade brought. I was a teenager back then, so I spent pretty much every weekend at the movie theater. So many great movies...there was:
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Jaws
The Godfather, parts 1 & 2
Rocky
The French Connection
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Carrie
The Exorcist
The Omen
American Graffiti
Apocalypse Now
The China Syndrome
A Clockwork Orange
Network
Superman
Alien
Annie Hall
Airport
and, yes, Star Wars.
Holy cow! I could go on, you know. It's very hard to choose. However, if I'm going to choose based solely on quality and enduring the test of time with both critics and fans, I would have to say, The Godfather.
Bet you never thought a woman would choose that one, right?
