Most states require licensing of some sort. You will probably have to show evidence of proper training; usually either factory training, NICET certification, or some states even have their own testing. You must also carry the proper insurance. Check with your state fire marshal, they most likely are the licensing ageny anyway, and if not, I am sure they will point you in the right direction.

first things first, you need to check with your state or county business permit agency to get the information on the requirements for being certified. Next, check with the national fire safety administration. (they will give you all types of helpful information. Also, this is sure way to get information. Go to an apartment complex or any where that has a fire extinguishers and write down the name of the company that's on it. Call and ask them your question and believe it or not they will give you the answer. The best of luck to you.
