I had a similar problem. It subsided and then stopped completely by my following a routine. I alwaus kept myself outward bound mentally if not physically. Always attended meetings, talks, listened carefully ,participated in conversations for which I had to keep myself uptodate. If ever I felt the thing crawling back at night I would wake up completely and listen to music or at lelast loud noise which divided attention. It took almost six months to get over but tje results started coming in by the month-end.

Picture mists lots of mist between the person you wish to become unlinked from. If he has truly wronged you let the force of your emotions from that wrong be the transport that removes him from you.

If the connection is a positive one just filling too much of your mind with psyche, then try talking to him about the connection you wish to end. If you cannot talk to him, get a picture of you and a picture of him together, wrap it in silk, three times. Think in your mind how you two are most bound together. Then, take the package, and unwrap it, one bind at a time, and with each unbinding, say outloud:
"dear brother, I no longer wish to be tied to you, please untie from me."
Then, destroy the picture immediately by ripping it up into tiny shreds and burning it.
Be sure you want to do this BEFORE you do this ritual!!!!! don't do it unless you really want to become unbound from him.
