I was deciding whether to buy a nano or just wait until the new one come out. Any awnsers, opinions, suggestions?

I don't believe the next iPod model will be release any time soon. They just barely released the iPod (video) and the Nano last year.
If you are talking about the full and touch screen iPod seen on rumor sites, there is nothing official about those yet. Those could just be a hoax. But you never know. If they do release them my best guess would be that they are released around October so people will buy them on Black Friday. If they don't release a new iPod this year, then there is a good chance they will release at least something next year...

usually around september or august if you look at their history of launching ipods its usually around this time. I have a feeling they will probably make the nano exactly the same only with more memory and the prices might drop a bit. just like they did with the mini.
