O.k....last week i had a period..and it was normal..and lasted 5 full days..a week later..i started bleeding for like a day and a half..what does that mean?...it was not like a pms bleeding..only bled..when i stood up...could that be a sign..or whats wrong with me?

Could just be that your body did not fully expel the lining of the uterus during your period. This may sound disgusting but was the blood black or dark brown or clumpy? If so it was old and was just not discharged during the menstrual cycle. Another thing may be, did you have a rough sexual experience within 24 hours of the spontaneous bleeding? If so that could be a cause. The only other thing I can think of would be a ruptured cyst. This is usually accompanied by abdominal pain but sometimes it just feels like a bad stomach ache. If this is the case they will most likely tell you its nothing to worry about. In any case if you think your pregnant, take a pregnancy test. You can get them at any grocery or drug store and they are fairly cheap. If you think it may be something else talk to your doctor. If I were you I would see my doctor first either way. Could be nothing but I'd like to know if it was me.

no probably not, it is pretty unusual to have a normal period while you are pregnant. However, it can and does happen. It is possible that your hormones surged again, causing the seperate day of spotting. Before I became pregnant, my periods would frequently stop for a day, and then come back a day or two later. I wouldnt worry about it, if you do think you are pregnant, you could take a test at this point to find out. Most likely it is nothing to worry about, if it happens again next month, make an appointment with your doctor.

i say that if you dont get a period next month then you might be pregnant or if you still bleed during the month then you need to see a doctor you might have an std

It doesn't sound like you are pregnant. The best thing you can do is talk to your ob-gyn about this to make sure something more serious isn't wrong with you.

you should call a doctor you may be preggo or you may just be having some spotting, or you on the pill or anything?
