Dell had a deal on a system for 349 that was supposed to be good until 6/14 but when I went to get it the deal had changed. That is a ripoff to me have others experienced that??

I'd attribute it to changes in market prices and model availability. I don't think they are "out to get you"

I haven't paid attention but I have heard bad things about Dell, like customer service is in India and that when you run out of ink you can't run to Office Depot for a new cartridge, you have to order replacement from Dell.

Their deals change all the time. Perhaps you had the dates mixed up. Bait and switch is when they advertise one product but when you go to buy it, it is not available and they offer you a different product in it's place. A sale that has ended is not bait and switch.

Dell just sucks anyway. Thier computers crash if you breathe on 'em. They are probably the worst computer makers, closely followed by Hewlett Packard. I mean, when they're so cheap, it makes you wonder about the quality, especially if they're a good profit motivated corporation. Try Acer or Gateway; those are much better.
