Pennies I generally put in the jar by the cash register most shops have, where someone who is a penny or two short can take them out and not have to break a larger coin or a bill. Quarters I keep for laundry. Nickles and dimes I generally put in the donation box -- for some childhood disease or something -- in Carl's Jr. and several other places where I shop. I only keep quarters, but then I also don't use cash all that often, so these are not great generous gestures on my part.

I would love to say that I save it up and once a year all the small change amasses to quite a large amount and I buy something really nice, but in reality I will usually buy a paper with it or some sweets or stickers :)

anything under a dime goes in the garbage if i find it on the floor or when im cleaning. I actually had a friend get really mad at me for this. He puts all his change in a big beer jar and were pretty sure he has about 500$ in there.

I keep it in an empty pickle jar. I always try to save it, but usually by the end of the month we usually take it to the coin star to buy that snack we have been craving right before pay day. We always have plenty of food, but not snacks.

I put it in a tiny purse attached to my motorcycle key and use it to pay for the miniscule amounts of gas I need to operate my Motorcycle. This way I can leave my car at home and use it only when there is more than just me occupying it.

I put it in a pickle jar. When the jar is full I take it to the bank and deposit the money into my Christmas Club account.

Savings for my daughters, I collected for them in a big buzz light year (coin collector) and they open it every 6 months and get it changed for a surprise gift, they love it and get in to the saving culture, that I think is good to be teach from now!

i like to put it in a little jar and when it's full i take it to the grocery store and empty it into one of those cash machines... then i go spend it on something fun that i wouldn't normaly buy... it's like a present to myself!! usually by the time it's full i have about $20-$30 so i have fun with it.. sometimes i just blow it all because that's fun sometimes.. you know, just buy a ton of junk or maybe buy something for my sister to suprise her.
