not at --all very sensible ,
and she is right what has it got to do with you what the neighbors do
i would also built a garage to hide if i was home or not
and put up a 2 meter wall ,
with trees planted all around the house
,just in case any one has binoculars.
maybe shes got a lover and wants no-one to know about it .
and if she did it would also be none of your business

i actually put a frost paint over the glass on my garage doors so that my own family couldnt tell if the cars were in there or not
ya know, sometimes you just dont want to answer the door or to have company
i understand
on the other hand it is a bit paranoid to think that her neighbors are watching her, if they truely were not
otherwise i think it is fine, we are intitled to are privacy

Being a very private person myself,, I say GO NEIGHBOR.
It's great she is able to control her privacy this way.
