Not consistently, and not from my parents, but here and there I've had good influences. And I'm grateful for them.

No, I really had no guidance at all. Lucky for me,I got pregnant at 18 & that is truly what guided me. I had this person to take care of. No one else was going to do it. Now I am a very responsible adult with 2 kids that are very well taken care of. They will have guidance available to them.

Yes, but at times, it was hard to take.
There were 7 of us growing up, and there were alot of sacrifices that we had to make, but my dad and mom gave a good example. There was a good balance of work and play, although the work part was difficult at times, and the play kind of went over the border of good propriety.
Fortunately, nobody ended up in jail or dead. Just a couple of accidents.

i have had guidence, not all of it good... Unfortunately the guidence i wanted from my parents and friends never came, and is not, though they do try (in their own way)... God has kept me in check to agreater extent and i believe you cant get any better guidence than from the 'Big Dude' so ya, when i have been faithful to God, He has been faithful to me and on that front, and at those times the guidence i received was first class

Definitely yes ! My thanks to my parents. I left them in my early 20's to come to the USA. I lived by myself for a few years. During the years I put myself to college, have no police record, no drug habits and I still love, revere, worship the Lord. Thanks for reminding me how good the job they did guiding me.
