Well, of course, it is, Honey...
But to me it must be held in context [as others have said too].
That is, it should be limited to the bonds of love and marriage.
Sex, or physical affection between the sexes - but affection of any kind, really, is my favourite part of the lot - even though, there are other special moments and romantic situations etc., just sitting on a beach, or in a movie theater, wife cooking the best of dinners, etc.
But sex itself is the guiding principle - even there.
It helps define the roles.
But you mean "having sex:/making love":
And, Yes; to me it's a highly vital part of the whole relationship and so fully satisfying, especially, if you've really given it 'your all'.
If you don't forget yourself, and give it your all, it's nowhere near as rewarding and fantastic!
"As ye sow, so shall ye reap" ... in everything, especially, sex.

lets see of the top ten all of them are sex-still a lot of other neat things about life but getting that close to another person is my favorite-lots of love old hippie
