Not so much Former as it is the only faith I believe in, however I do not attend church any longer. The church I went to they stole the money that was supposed to be for a new parish that we raised in fund raisers a priest ran off with it. Also a priest announced he was GAY and invited any one who didn't not believe in his true calling to go to another church.. If we thought of any thing of him for the 15 years prior he was there he said it wouldn't make a diff... I have Catholicism in my heart however I don't practice with the church in Mass.

Yes I am and proud of it. I live a decent life and a have a strong belief in God and I don't need priests who have never been married or had kids telling me how to live my life. My wife feels the same way. She went to parochial school and had many abusive nuns over the years. Sometimes the abuse would be witnessed by a priest who would do nothing. All this and they make you feel guilty too. God is ashamed of the whole lot of them.

Yes--I left for MANY reasons. One reason is that I got a 'form letter' letting me know that I was not being generous enough with my weekly donations!(with a computer printout showing how my offertory amounts had decreased over the past 5 years.)At the time,my husband had just lost his job,and we have 4 children.

yep,i figured out they hook you at birth, keep you with fear and its anti-Semitic at its core because"saint Paul"Saul of tarsus meant it to destroy the Jews he was one of and hated.its not monotheistic, its greco-roman Hellenism with the names changed to confuse the innocent.i believe in one G_D,i believe Jesus lived, but he was a man and what he wanted to do is convert the pagan hellenist's to the one nameless,faceless,G_D.
