Help!! I found these little crustacian like creatures in my pool. They are tiny, but they resemble shrimp. What are they? What can I do to get rid of them? Are they dangerous? Please serious responses only! Thank you in advance for your input.

Throw JAVEX in the pool to kill the critters.

They sound like Mosquito Larvae to me. Does your pool have good circulation and filtration?

Do the little critters look like this?

That would be my best guess and would be applicable if the water was stagnant.

Of course, someone could have dropped a package of sea monkeys in your pool!

They're probably baby whatevers. Wait until they grow a little bigger and you'll figure out what they are. If they can survive in the chlorinated fresh water they're not shrimp. So don't worry. They are not harmless, whatever they are. Unless they are sharks...

They are a type of flatworm,, time to take a water sample to a good pool store and make sure some of these are in it,, they can tell you what to get to treat the pool.

Sea monkeys aka Krill. I don't know if they survive in chlorinated water and I don't think they are dangerous. Hope this helped.

More likely mosquito larvae. Check your chemical balance, chlorine should kill them.
