I'm thinking of using angieslist.com to find a contractor for work on my home.

Yes, my boss at work used Angie's list quite a few times to get some work done on his house. He is all rave about it and says that since the contractors are all through recommendation by other users on Angie's list, they are really good. I tried to get someone off Craigslist by it was not a pleasant experience. For next time I will Angie's list or just ask around at work or neighbors and see if anyone will recommend a contractor. I've learned that its better to go with other's recommendations than to try someone new. Home Depot has also started a contractor referral service so you may want to look into that as well. Jus call or visit your local HD store and they have a special desk for this purpose.

Yes, my husband has used Angie's List. He was very pleased with the people he found on the list. Good luck.

I have used the list and found it to have excellant contracters
