Simply it was rigged, there were three states with questionalble results this time.

Because the Republicans religious right base showed up in force . Due to the fact they are all so worried about Gay's getting married and stem cell research . No sense in electing a bunch of people that want to help America when we can divide America in the name of Jesus!!

One, a lot of negative campaigning was involoved.
Two, a lot of people didn't want to change president in a time of war.
Three, Kerry was inconsistent
Four, Some senators retired, giving others to jump on that chance.
Five, a lot of campaign promises that seemed too good to be true were mad.

Because they were outvoted. But that was due to Republicans raising the price of gas to the point where Democrats couldn't afford...no, wait. That didn't happen. Okay because road blocks were set up in largely Democratic voting areas...no, wait. That didn't happen either. I know...because their supporters had to work and couldn't...nope, not that one either.

the only reason Bush won is because he appealed to the ignorance of bible thumpers who for some reason are threatened by gay marriage. it brought them out in droves and it will do so again as Bush shamelessly campaigns to uphold the sanctity of marriage that he showed by cheating on his wife.
