I had a cartilage operation back in 1978 and also had some ligament damage which was never repaired. This leaves my knee weak when doing exercise etc... I would like to find the best knee brace/support (available online or in the USA). I have tried a few inexpensive ones that slide around or stop blood flow or just don't give much support, can anyone suggest one (no matter the cost)that has worked the best for them.

the best support is a reconstructed ligament. period.
if you have symptoms not controlled by muscle strenthening, please get it done- it may already be too late
