Name it after several of the hillbillies. Jed Jethro Ellie Mae Boudine. Alot of people are using more than 3 names now days. He can invite all his friends to eat at the fancy eating table

If it's a boy, I'd go with "Drysdale." Though he's not a Hillbillie himself... it'd make a cool boy's name.

A girl, I'd go with Jane, in honor of Miss Hathaway. Elly May sounds a little too hokey these days. And Granny probably wouldn't work too well.

Depends on what kind of baby it is. If he's a real "rocket scientist" name him Jethro. He she's fine, Ellie Mae. If he or she looks like they need to go back into the oven and bake a while longer go with Jed or Granny.

Jethro Bodine(boy)
Jethrene Bodine (girl)

Although it would be funny to name your first born son "Granny"

Mr. Drysdale would be a good name for a pet, come to think of it.
