Pensacola Beach, Florida has jetski rentals available as well as neighboring Navarre Beach.

My husband and I have owned one for a year now, and I wouldn't get on it because someone scared me really bad on one about 4 years ago. Well, I finally rode ours by myself about 3 weeks ago, and I had a blast. I'm still a chicken, but I think I'll get over it after a few more rides.
