A wedding ceremony where the couple comes from different ethnic or cultural backgrounds, and traditions from both of those backgrounds are included together. I once went to a friend's wedding (she is Vietnamese, and her groom was Irish-American) and they had a traditional american ceremony at the church, and at the reception, they followed traditional vietnamese wedding customs, including dressing up in formal vietnamese wedding garments.
Other examples might include multi-cultural fairs, where there are booths sponsored by different cultural groups, and there are stages for performing arts from different traditions, or a museum exhibition on how different cultures all do something, but in different ways (like celebrating holidays, or architectural styles).
