Following are the terms and conditions generally applicable to Best Buy Gift Cards. Best Buy issues a variety of Gift Cards, some of which may have terms that differ from those stated below; however, they can still be redeemed online.
Best Buy Gift Cards are redeemable in any U.S. Best Buy retail locations or online at BestBuy.com for merchandise or services only. Please note the following:
Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash.
Lost, stolen or damaged cards will be replaced only with valid proof of purchase to extent of remaining card balance.
Gift Cards cannot be used as a credit or debit card.
Gift Cards are not valid as payment on a Best Buy credit card.
Check Gift Card balance at any U.S. Best Buy retail location, online at BestBuy.com, or by calling 1-888-716-7994 (must have card number available).
Receipt will show remaining balance.
There is no expiration date.
Reload your card at any U.S. Best Buy retail location.
Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Gift Cards are issued by Best Buy.

Its kinda funny to read the answers from the numb nuts below. He is asking if he can USE it at any OTHER store and NOT to buy it. Jeez... L2Engrish.
Answer: No you cant. You can only use it at Best buy. But you can sell a Best Buy gift card for 95% of its face value on ebay and other websites and pay a further 15% processing fee on the transaction. Which means, for a $100 gift card you will end up with $80.
It sucks right?

No you are not allowed to use a Bestbuy gift card at another store because its not like a credit card.

You can buy them in other stores. It is just like the ones at Walmart. As with the Walmart card, you can only use them in a best buy store. It is more like a debit card than a credit card( ie when you return something to Walmart and they will give you a refund on a Walmart card.

hi, yes you can, I have seen Best Buy Cards at gas stations here in Arizona as well as all food supermarkets such as Fry's and Safeway's and yes i believe you can buy gift cards through their website as well..i hope that has helped
