We have already found planets orbiting other stars in our solar system. They detect them by the "wobble" of the star. The wobble tells them something is orbiting the star. Knowing the stars aproximate mass, they can tell roughly how big the planet is. We have found almost one hundred planets outside of our solar system.

Didn't I hear awhile back that they'd spotted a new moon that had been hidden? I haven't been keeping up on it, but I find the subject very interesting ...

They're having problems with defining what exactly should count as a planet. Obviously, the first 8 planets we have count, but should Pluto be considered a planet, since many of the moons we know of are bigger? If someone finds a Mercury-sized object in the Kupier belt, should it be considered a planet?

Well, they know we have a tenth planet in the solar system, because, mathematically the gravity of the universe doesn't compute unless you add a tenth planet.

astronomers say that they found a 10th planet beyond pluto but its not really determined if it is a planet... and not much information has come out of that planet.... also pluto there thinking should it be considered as a planet because it is so small that it revolves around its own moon and the moon revolves around pluto and plus pluto is smaller than OUR own moon..... so i dunno if there gonna take out pluto... but i was really suprised that we found another planet beyond pluto i wonder how it looks like (mars red surface type, very icy though) whats the temperature like... etc...
