I am trying to find ideas to write a cowboy western melodrama and have been watching old Westerns, but if there are some scripts out there to read, that would be awesome, too.

There are dozens, if not hundreds of musicals and western plays. One of the funniest is called Sneaky Fitch. You can probably find it in your library.
