They must get 8 hours of sun or more. They may need to be watered every day. They may
have nematodes which are tiny microscopic
insects- you can get help at a garden store for the spray or insecticide that you need. Finally,
you cannot plant tomatoes in the same place with the same dirt each year or your plants will get a disease. Next year dig out all of the old dirt and fill the area with new topsoil and then add some Miracle Grow topsoil as well. Always
water in the morning or early afternoon. Watering at night will cause the plants to catch a fungus type disease.

Are they getting enough sunlight and water. Tomatoes love the sun, they like heat and they need lots of water.
Are there chew holes? If they are being chewed it's a bug. If the plant is falling over wilted, it's maybe not enough moisture retained. If it's getting spindly it's lack of sun.
These are the main cause for dying plants!
Put them in full sun!!! Give them water the same day the suface is dry....(every other day or so). They also need good soil (new soil each year)There are some minerals that tomatoes need and they tend to get black rot on the ends without them. That usually means the pH is wrong, or there is a lack in the soil.

Thanks for reminding me....I have to go water the tomato plants now.....If it is the weak soil, have you tried planting them in a pot with store bought soil? That is what we have done and our plants are doing well. Although we are in different climates from where you are. Good luck!

You need to move toms around, if you keep planting them in the same place they poison the soil with a fungal infection. Jules, Australia.

if you have them outside, might be the cold. recently we have been experiencing a cold wave on the east coast, northern parts. you might want to wrap a sack around the plants or perhaps, if in a pot, bring it inside for a little while during the night.

not much information, but sounds like you have a fungi infection in your plants, that's assuming you have carefully checked for insect damage. good luck
