I use OCTAGON soap. It is a lye based soap. I have a 3 year old that gets everything from spaghetti sauce to paint to you name it on his clothes and this soap gets it out every time... and we have had no ill reactions.
It comes in a bar form and I simply wet the item and rub/scrub with the bar.
I purchase mine at Food lion but I am sure other places carry it.
This soap has been around for generations [my grandparents used it in the 1920's, 1930's and 1940's].

Pre treat with Era . Rub material in between thumbs and if you need to add alittle more soap. Place shirt in cold water over night and wash in the morning with Era and bleach. Should come right out! If you have already put it in the dryer on high you have a permanent stain that wont come out leaving you to either dye the shirt your favorite color or make it a play(work) shirt. Good luck!

First of all I wish I had my own web site. I have 3 young children and in order to KEEP their clothes I have to know what too do! First let it soak in cold water. Use a little of your laundry soap. Preferably Era laundry soap. Since its white you can use HOT water in the wash. Use a little elbow grease. continue to scrub on the stain about every 15-30 min for awhile. If that wont do it Please just go to the store and buy a Clorox bleach pen. You'll love it!!!

If you've washed it the stain is pretty much set-in.
Time to consider dyeing the shirt a matching color to camouflage the stain.

You should try putting vinegar and baking soda on the stain and then wash it. This is a old home remedy that's been passed down from generations.

Try the new Tide To Go pen. One of the girls at work had dried pizza sauce on her white shirt and I gave her my pen and it came right out and it had been on there for several hours before we noticed it.
