totosai told inuyasha that inorder to make the tetsusaiga stronger he had to kill a bat demon who had a very powerful barrier, when inuyasha gets there he finds out that the person who puts up the barrier is a little girl who is a half-demon like himself Shiori i think that is her name but instead of killing her he helps her escape from her grandfather Taigokumaru i think that how you spell it, who is a full demon and kills him shiori tells inuyasha that he can break the orb that she carries inorder to make the tetsusaiga stronger. The orb helps her make the barrier and is an heirlom shiori's demon family. The tetsusaiga absorbs the demonic power of the orb and glows red and becomes the red tetsusaiga. Inuyasha wanted to make the tetsusaiga stronger inorder to break through Naraku's barrier. Well there you go.

the bat demon grand-daughter have this orb that protect the bat demons from anything. the grand-daughter is half-demon, she gave Inuyasha the orb. Inuyasha break the orb with Tetsusiaga and absorb the orb power. That's how Inuyasha get the read tetsusaiga

Inuyasha was trying to learn how to break thourgh barriers, when he figured out how to do it, the tetsusaiga turned red.

hmmm...i forgot how...man how long was it since i seen that episode....i forgot...i am a number 1 Inuyasha Fan and i forgot how he got his red tetsusaiga?! ugh...i gotta watch some more of Inuyasha till i got every episode implanted in my mind..
