Okay, hold on, did you get two ultrasounds already? I'm trying to figure out how you bought girl stuff if they saw the vagina and then thought it might be the penis, unless they saw the "vagina" in one ultrasound and then you later had another and they though...hmm, that looks like a penis. Usually the vagina looks like a hotdog bun and the penis looks like a turtle on the ultrasound.

If your health insurance covers another ultrasound, ask your doc if he plans on doing one around your 36th week. A lot of docs do, to make sure all organs are developed and the baby is fully developed in case you go into labor early, especially the lungs ...most women get two ultrasounds now a days but you can often get a 3rd because of that.

If you are not getting any more ultrasounds, buy a few boys things to have on hand, onsies work good, get green and yellow, that way if it is a girl you can still use them. The baby usually sleeps in a basinette close to you in your room for the first 6 weeks or so, that way if you have to repaint the nursery you can. Finally, have a back up name ready just in case...I understand how worried you are, but as long as that baby is born healthy, all the other thngs to do with clothes and stuff can be fixed later.

an ultrasound showing a BOY is more reliable then a GIRL because sometimes the boy parts are not fully formed at the ultrasound at it looks like a girl. 99% OF ULTRASOUNDS saying boy are BOYS. only 90% GIRLS are girls. Mistakes do happen that's WHY they tell you at the ultrasound it's a BEST guess!. I was always told to keep recits 4 baby stuff and not go nuts buying 4 only one gender. You should bring a boy and girl outfit to the delivery, I did that with my two children and will with this one no matter what the ultrersound say's the baby is. Nothing is 100% either way they tell you boy or girl.

Hopefully you bought (or received at your baby shower) some unisex clothes (yellow and white). I'd keep all of that stuff and wash it and get it ready for the nursery so you'll at least have something to put on the baby for a few days after birth when you get home from the hospital. After the baby is born, if he is a boy, then have your husband or mom or a friend return all the girl clothes and exchange them.

From what I understand, it a doctor says it's a boy - it's usually right. But when they say it's a girl, the chances for being wrong are higher, because the penis may have been in a position where they couldn't see it the first time looking. It could be either. I would return everything I could and save the money for when the child is born to get it the right things.

first of all, congrats on the baby. im 7 months and was told im having a boy. we just dont see a penis in the ultrasound. so we went out and bought boy things and if its a girl we can return them we have left all tags on and that is what i suggest u do. also do the nursery in neutral tones. this way it works for a boy or girl

It's very often possible to determine sex from an ultrasound, but not conclusively. There's always room for error! Many, many people have been told the whole way through their pregnancy that they're having a boy and then had a girl...and vice versa. It happens!

Hopefully you have your receipts and are able to exchange everything.. You have to understand something the ultrasound is not 100% accurate.. I was told that I was having a boy and it was a girl... How can they make that confusion, don't know, but they did... Therefore, unfortunately, there is not much you can do.. sorry.

I'm not sure how to help you exactly, because your baby is growing and being exactly as it should be.

You can never for sure know the gender of the baby until he or she comes out.

Good luck though and I hope everything is ok with your baby! My friend just had a beautiful little girl, so I'm very happy for her.
