Yahoo uses a mix of languages. For instance, this site Yahoo Answers uses PHP as the backend dynamic server. They probally use python or perl for the main site. But mostly they use PHP.

They have a bit of ruby and jsp somewhere. Yahoo is not limited to one programming language, but it is 90% PHP.
