My dad use to say, "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired." I didn't quite understand that until I got to this piont we call middle age. I guess everyone gets "old" ... if they live long enough. We all have our Days of being sick and tired but underneith it all, I understand your question. You feel you have some living to do but just can't seem to be able do it.

Don't ever get tired of living, even if it's not quite going well. I'm not quite sure what is behind Door #2, but I'm willing to be patient: They say good things come to those who wait.

Perhaps you just need something to do that fullfills you while you're still here. Being nice to others is good for the soul ... and might wipe out a small sin or two. Do something that makes someone else smile and you might find yourself smileing back.

Don't dwell on the past and don't be to hard on yourself or anyone else. Remember the good times and the friends you've made, and the love you've shared.

Each morning, be greatful and each evening, let it go. When there's no one to share a moment with, realize there's a guardian Angel who might like you to offer them a seat after so many years of devoted service, who wouldn't mind just sitting with you and listening to what ever you have to say.

Remember, a Fur Tree stands strong in the Winter and knows it will see it's friends again in the Spring.

Count your blessings, my friend. :) You're not alone, just at a distance from a lot of others asking the same question.

There are far too many experiences and far to much knowledge that can be learned to get too old to be tired of living. Why should a simple thing like time prevent you from living everyday.

Why be tired of living? Age is more about body functions than mental attitude.
As long as one's mind is open and wishes to learn, then age isn't an issue.

There is ALWAYS something new. Places to go, people to meet, books to read, movies to see, things to learn and stuff to do. I believe I'll die long before I get to do even 1% of the things I want to do.

Make lots of memories! Lots and lots! And make sure that love is part of most of them. You will not be tired in your soul and mind then. And that is what matters.

My answer is that you do get tired of living. At least, I have. I WANT OUT OF HERE! ENOUGH ALREADY.
