Wow/ this one is difficult.
I would choose Alan Jackson.. only because I have had a crush on him for years//and he is down to earth.
Then,
Kevin Costner,,because he is cute too,, and our children would have pretty eyes.
Matthew McConnay.. because he is the most handsomest man, and he is also from Texas,, and our children wouldn't have to learn different slang, and would have th e same accent.
I would marry Prince Henry so we would be called the Royal Family.
Adam Sandler,,because he would be the best dad and have a great time w/ the kids.

i wouldn't pick someone the media sees as famous. so i really can't answer the question how you might see as appropriate. my answer comes from who i see as "famous" or someone who i look up to rather. it's my boyfriend. yes, you probably think this is some lame 14 year old answer and i merely have some crush that will go away in a week. i'm 27 and am waiting for him to come over to the states. we plan on getting married eventually. and have even talked about kids. :) we even named them.
