Get yourself a FULL SIZE , expensive umbrella. I used to lose my umbrellas all the time until I went to the Men's Dept at a good store and bought a "gentleman's umbrella" for around $30.00. Now, I never forget it. Two reasons why:
1. It's so big I notice it sitting there.
2. It cost me too much to forget.
Now here are the serendipities - I now have a real umbrella that I can share easily with whoever I am with- I am a big man and it still accomodates me and a friend. It survives even very strong winds because it's built to last, and I have not had to buy another (cheap little flimsy) umbrella in years. A gentleman is always supposed to carry an umbrella in the car.
Gloves - If I take them off, they go in my coat pocket, nowhere else ever. Deep inside. You won't forget your coat.

Always leave them under your keys! You can't leave the house without keys.

To keep you from forgetting gloves when out, always store them in your pocket or purse. Put the umbrella right by the door, and if it's safe for others put it right by your walkway. This way you have to see it before leaving.

Well do you carry a purse? If so get an umbrella that is small enough to fit in the side of your purse or in your coat pocket.Wh at we tell our elementary students to do with their gloves is to place them in their sleeve of their jacket so when they are putting on their jacket they will always know where their gloves are.

A friend told me as soon as she gets somewhere she puts her watch on the other hand; When you check the time it will remind you about your gloves, umbrella, whatever you want to remember. Try it

gloves, you can run a string through your jacket sleeves tying them together, and just keep your umbrella with you, bring a plastic grocery sack, or just grab some of the umbrella bags on your way out of the store next time.

i leave my umbrella out so i can find it in the morning. If you need them bad enough you will remember. Also you could try having one in your car and in the house.

If you are leaving them behind in places other than home, make sure to always set them down where you have to move them to leave.

If you are leaving them at home, designate a spot in your house for things to take with you. As soon as you get home, put your keys, purse, wallet, etc in the same spot. When you leave, everything is in one place ready to go.

If you leave them at work, always put your keys under them so you have to pick them up to find your keys.
