The only problem with it is that Condi doesn't have the political backing in the party to pull it off. Why put up a candidate that doesn't have a chance? Great premise though. Let me know when the book comes out.

Could happen but I do not see it. Most likely My president would pick a Republican gov or member of Congress who is retiring.
Condi Rice could win the red states.
