i know a woman whose daughter passed away and she uses her I D for everything. How does she get by with this?

I HAVE TOLD THE LOCAL POLICE AND HER EMPLOYER BUT THEY SAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO.

because you haven't reported her to the police yet. stop complaining and do something about it if it irks you so much.

It's not legal, but then the police may not consider it a priority. Contact you local Social Security office. They will probably take it pretty seriously.

You should report her to the FBI.

Excuse me?? That's messed up! You need to report her pattern of fraud to those she's defrauding as well as the police.

Not only is it illegal.... its morally wrong. Its called fraud and is punishable in all 50 states of the US.
