Ok so i'm 16 and i have a job at a grocery store. today was my first day and i hated it. I always had a long line in my checkout line and i kept getting confused with the cash register. Plus there are hardly any kids working there and you hardly have any time to talk to people. Does anyone know of any easier jobs that i could get?

Hey kid stick with the job, maybe some day you could work your way up to being manager. No job is easy the first day. If your the only one who is 16 working there think of it as the man that hired you, thought you had potential otherwise you would not have gotten the job in the first place. Don't quit, stay with it, At least after a few months, they will give you a reference. Consider your self lucky to get the chance.

I worked at a restuarant, On the Border for my first job. I was a hostess, and I loved it. I'm a people person, I loved greeting people and taking them to there seats. Thats pretty much all you have to do, its an easy job and I started at 6.50$. I'd recommend being a hostess.
