A-Rod since the fans vote for the All Star starters. Personally, Troy Glaus from Toronto should start. Both have scored 50 runs, and ARod is hitting 8 pts higher (.281 for ARod, .273 for Glaus), but Glaus has 6 more HR's and 5 more RBI's.

Mike Lowell of the Boston Red Sox deserves the nod, but A-Rod, with his past reputation (certainly not this year's) may edge him out!! It would be a shame because Mike Lowell is having a great comeback year!!

no question it's going to be A-Rod. Just being a yankee gives him a head start, and then there is the fact (okay opinion) that he is the best player in baseball.

Glaus is because A-Rod hasn't done really anything "special" this year and Glaus is on a tear of lately.

A.Rod for sure because he is a Yankee and its all up to the fans to vote. This year though I actually think that he might deserve to start unlike other years where the fans just let him start.
