I unfortunately tried all of that survey stuff and I never earned a dime, except a $25.00 gift card to a restaurant out of state. So, don't waste you time with surveys or the secret shopper thing. They mainly try to get you purchase items --a lot of advertising mainly instead of doing surveys. You are supposedly put into a drawing for a lot of money or earn points. It is not worth it.
I know that people can make some money buying products and selling them on Ebay. But that would not necessarily be easy.
I do not think any type of job like the ones you mentioned would be easy and usually it is a scam to make you purchase something or give them money to find out what their business is all about anyway. I heard about the evelope stuffing and I think you have to maybe purchase the envelopes or something and it doesn't work out to be much profit. Not real sure about that though, although it is known to be a big scam. There has to be a reason.
I have a couple of friends that sell skincare products and they really like that. I know people who teach music, tutoring, and modeling lessons--that kind of stuff as a second job. Also selling jewelry and crafts is ok too. I really think all that stuff on TV for working at home should be illegal b/c it's all a big scam.
If you do find something you believe might be legitimate, do the research and check it out on the Better Business Bureau's website and email them about the company if you can't find the information. They will do it. It is their job. Good luck and email me if you find anything worth doing.

Craigslist.org is probably helpful for both questions asked.
Stay away from stuffing-envelopes scams, by the way.
