Greek Columns were imprecise to give the optical illusion of precision. Roman Roads that were laid down with great effort by some folks to make the transit of other folks easier and more efficient. The Gregorian Calendar which was derived from inaccurate predecessors, but deemed to be more accurate and therefore better without actually resolving any fundamental flaws.
Taken as a whole, these examples clearly demonstrate that you can reasonably botch a project in terms of implementation, resources or timeline and still come up with something historically famous and noteworthy. And while it helps to have imperial- or papal-grade authority to force your screw-up on the masses, it's not required if your project simply looks good enough to be appealing to the average citizen.

Easy, end with this.
With the gregorian calendar we have more days in the year to transpoort our greeek columns along the roman roads. So we can build the wonderful houses we live in today.
Thank you very much, I'm out.

I'd have to read the report to conclude it, but yeah... if you send it to me (mesipf@yahoo.com) I can give you a pretty good idea of how to sum it up.
