I'm from soutwest Colorado, and I've always thought that it would be a very cool thing to be proposed to while on one of the outside cars of the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad...in the winter...because it's absolutely beautiful (cold, but beautiful).

My husband proposed at the sewer, or "water treatment," plant. Before y'all get freaked out, there's a boat ramp right next to it where everybody goes to, uh, well figure it out. That's where we first kissed. We got married on the beach about a mile down the road.

somewhere where it's just me and him...somewhere romantic would be better i guess...although it doesn't really matter. i often go through my mind wondering HOW he's going to ask me. not so much where. i've been engaged twice, and neither was very romantic...so i'm sort of on this permanent disappointment with men (how they ask). although it could be different right? do guys even ask on one knee anymore???

someplace quiet and secluded--at night when it's cool but not cold--like by a river or lake in April/October at night under a clear sky with stars and a full moon.
