It takes a second to break a relation. If he wants to stay with you might be an indication that he likes you. Are u 100% sure that he is cheating on you or it is just a guess. For a healthy relationship ups and downs are very normal. If one is angry or argumentative, other must be quiet at that time. It is all in your hands. You should try to save ur relation, if you can't then you already have other option though. But that should be the last resort.

Men cheat for one simple reason, boredom! It's not necessarily you but the fact that for many men the chase is better than the actual relationship. AS a man get older he still want to prove to himself that he still has his MOJO. There is only one thing that seem to work if your man cheats, as soon as you find out don't argue, don't scream, simply tell him that it was nice knowing him and watch him become your little puppy at least for the time being. Forgiving more than one only makes the situation worse.

More downs than ups? Seek counseling. If that doesn't work, then leave. There is no reason to cheat, male or female. It is a sin to cheat, is morally wrong, and your conscience should tell you that. If not, then there is something wrong.

I think I would put it this way: why would anyone cheat? It takes two to cheat. Males and females both cheat, not just men. This is just my opinion, beliefs, and experience.

Good luck!

I truely believe that no one cheats unless they are unhappy and that they rarely cheat just b/c they really wanted to have that one person they had. As to why he didn't take the out....fear. Fear that maybe after you were gone he'd realize he wants to be with you. Fear that his lifestyle wouldn't be the same(i.e. income, time with the kids). Fear that you would be with some one else. Fear that his kids would be around another man.

Men can have sex with other women and love someone else. Sex to men is just sex. But they only love one. Its a guy thing.
