Helped me get my first job. It was one of the few things on my 'resume', and made a real impact.

Since then (1975), I listed it on every resume, and it had a positive impact several times.

The biggest thing it did was to boost my own confidence in myself, and sort of 'lock in' some of the skills and abilities the Scouts taught me.

When I re-entered Scouting as an adult leader years ago, it helped open a lot of doors for some cool adventures.

Yes... I do, from 31 years ago.

While it hasn't helped me specifically in my career, it has taught me many of the necessary elements to get me through it all. Ethics, confidence, truthfullness...
and then how to tie-up the SOB's that tried to mess with me!!!
