LimeWire itself is not illegal, because when you agree to their terms they are no longer liable for your downloading copyrighted materials with their software.

NO it is not. You have to pay to get on LIMEWIRE. If it was illegal they couldn`t sell it. I used to have WINMX and it was free for a while but then it went to a pay sight also because they weren`t charging for it . LimeWire was better so I went with that.
